Moving you to General Programming -- Music & Sound is more for creating or working with audio than audio programming.

1. What error are you getting?

2. Do you have more code, or just that one line?

3. Are you writing a regular Win32 Console application in C++, or are you using Managed C++? I believe the SoundPlayer class (this one?) you're referring to is meant to be used in Managed C++ or from other .NET languages.
