directx9ex directx10 and directwrite

I have used the SlimDX sample of directwrite and modified it to experiment with directx9ex, directx10 and directwrite.

I have created a render target from a directx10 and render text using direct2d and directwrite, if i use a format of R8G8B8A8_UNorm, i can write the texture to a file and it is ok, if i use a format of B8G8R8A8_UNorm so i will be able to share the rendertarget (texture) with the directx9ex device when i try to write to a file the directx10 texture i get the error "E_FAIL: An undetermined error occurred (-2147467259)". Debugging is enabled on DirectX10 and i am also using the direct2d debug layer.

Can someone help!

Try creating the texture using a DX10.1 device with the latest driver. I believe that the feature level doesn't have to be 10.1 but the device does.
