I know this isn't game releated, but I figured somebody here would know.
But I'm using VS2008 (C++ Project) and I have alot of "// HACK" and "// TODO" comments. But they only show in the task panel if I have the file opened. Is there anyway / plugin that can help me show all of them?

ctrl+shift+f, "(HACK|TODO)", select "current project" (or "entire solution"), check "match case", check "use regular expressions", and press "find all". Double click on a match in the "Find Results" pane to go to that file and line of that match.

This is a bit of a tangent to what you're asking, but you might like this FIXME macro. I've never heard of VS "task panel" before, but I use something like this:

fixme.h:

#define __STR2__(x) #x
#define __STR1__(x) __STR2__(x)
#define __LOC2__ __FILE__ "("__STR1__(__LINE__)") : "

#define FIXME(text) __pragma(message(__LOC2__ "FIXME Reminder: " #text ));

Then you can put in any file FIXME("Fix this broken junk"); and it will spit out as a warning in your compiler with comment and line number anytime you compile. If you build the whole project it will spit out a list of all your fixme's.
