What would you suggest for graphicss programming portfolio ?

Hi

I would like to learn , what would you suggest to have in the portfolio
for entry level graphics programming jobs in the game industry ?

What about one of those :

Particle systems demo such as fire implemented with shaders
Bump mapping or parallax mapping
Procedural generation such as water or terrain
Character Animation
Advanced techniques for lighting or shading ( what would you speciffically suggest for this one ? )
