OpenGL SDL and Opengl 4.0

Hi, simple question. Is it possible to use the SDL API and use OpenGL 4.0 or is it unsupported by SDL. Should I just start learning the Win32 API if I want Windows to be able to handle OpenGL 4.0?

I can't think of any reason why you wouldn't be able to. AFAIK you can use SDL to just give you a window on which you can use any opengl commands that you want.
