Rasterizing 45-deg rotated filled ellipse

I would like an efficient algorithm for drawing a filled ellipse with a rotation of 45 degrees (coding in C).

The function declaration is something like


filledRotatedEllipse(unsigned int d0,unsigned int d1)



where d0 is the major axis length, and d1 is the minor axis length

The available subroutines for drawing are


pixel(unsigned int x,unsigned int y)
line(unsigned int x0,unsigned int y0,unsigned int x1,unsigned int y1)
rectangle(unsigned int x0,unsigned int y0,unsigned int x1,unsigned int y1)
filledRectangle(unsigned int x0,unsigned int y0,unsigned int x1,unsigned int y1)
circle(unsigned int x,unsigned int y,unsigned int radius)
fill(unsigned int x,unsigned int y)



This is for my personal project, not homework or a job or anything. If you contribute an efficient working algorithm, your name will be listed in the code as referrer or coder for that function. Thank you for any help.
