Hello all, I know the try and catch method can be used to catch maybe something like a std exception, but do programmers that make Fire Fox or say Google Chrome use the try and catch as much as possible to create a crash report system? How does a crash report system like Fire Fox work? Is their some sort of executable thats compiled to watch out for a Fire Fox crash so it can send information about the user to the bug database?

I was wondering because I want to make my own crash system for my program, I know my source code is 99% crash free (I'm not trying to seem high and mighty), but just encase something happens on someone PC I don't want someone telling me stuff that isn't specific enough to help solve my problem.
