OpenGL mesh/point sprites/volume

Hi,

I saw that this forum is quite active, that's good to know because i'm always looking for answers hehe!

I would like to know if there are any ways of making a volume from a bunch of point sprites in opengl? If not, what would i need in order to be able to mesh a volume from a set of data (x,y,z).

I don't think there's anything specific in OpenGL that's going to help you here. You've got a grid of points and you want to create a triangle mesh from that? I think the marching cubes algorithm might be what you want, but I've never used it myself.
