I like to show a video stream from a HD-capture card into a WPF-application. So I think, that SlimDX would be nice for embedding a DirectX-Window into the WPF-GUI. But I'm very new in managed DirectX so if somebody could give me a clou how to start. What I have is an IntPtr on the buffer with the video stream and the length of the databuffer. I also know the resolution and the fps of the video. These data I get from the SDK of the card.
But how can I "transform" this pointer to a nice looking video inside of a DirectX-Windows?

Thanks for help,
