I just started using MySQL.

Anyway I'm trying to create a simple console app in Xcode/C++ that connects to tables I created.

Can anyone tell me what step by step things I have to do. Do I need to install APIs/play with settings?

Please don't tell me to look at MySQL documentation or do a search on forums because I've done all that for hours and I'm honestly at wits end. This is a last resort.
