DirectX u,v offset and scale

Hi, months ago i made a tool to change the position of numbers and names in the jerseys of a basket game, the result wasn´t perfect because that jersey files has info about the u,v position of the numbers and name in the jersey and also their scale, and when i tried to change the scale it seemed to change the origin of the u,v coordinates.

So i would like to know which system of uv mapping in directx works with u,v coordinates and scale to try to improve my tool.
