Copy Constructor

Why at some situation we define a copy constructor explicitly though it's available by default?

Because the default copy constructor may not do what you want it to do. For example, if your structure contains indirect references, such as handles and pointers, the indirect references themselves may be copied but you want to copy the referenced resources instead. The default copy constructor may not do that.
