When I try to draw a line, No matter what I set the alpha or color to, the line is always extremely dark, even when it should be white.
This is my code:

glClear(GL_COLOR_BUFFER_BIT|GL_DEPTH_BUFFER_BIT);
glColor3f(1.0f, 1.0f, 1.0f);
glBegin(GL_LINES);
glColor3f(1.0f, 1.0f, 1.0f);
glVertex3i(0.0, 0.0, 0.0);
glColor3f(1.0f, 1.0f, 1.0f);
glVertex3f(200.0, 200.0, 0.0);
glEnd( );

If you have lighting on, that could be messing up your line's color.

Another thought... maybe anti aliasing could be blending your line too much into the background? Assuming the background is black!

2 random thoughts you might explore :P
