OpenGL Yann'S Vertex Slot Manager With Static/Dynamic Buffers?

Hi, I have read up on topics related to the Yann's fixed slot allocator for smaller blocks and pool allocator for the larger size. I understand that this method requires creating a large VBO beforehand which we then break them up into smaller slots for usage.


However my problem, is what about the different buffer usage type. For example, STATIC vs DYNAMIC vs STREAM (opengl) does that means each type of usage would require a cache allocator??

for e.g 1x STATIC fixed slot allocator, 1x STATIC pool allocator, 1x DYNAMIC fixed slot allocator.... etc

which totals to 6 allocators? and if each allocator occupies 8mb that would be... 48mb?


P.S I can't seems to edit the caps in the title, it seems to auto caps after the apostrophe
