Does anyone know how you get the type of an object in maxscript, so you can determine if it's an instance of some other type? For instance if I wanted to do the equivalent of this C++ code:

if (typeid(foo) == typeid(freeSpot))
{

}

(where 'foo' is an object instance and 'freeSpot' is a class type).

Thanks!

If anyone has this same question in the future, the global classOf function seems to do the trick.
