WML games suck and it seems to me that WAP and WML are depressingly intertwined. Is there any way to send content other than WML through WAP to the hardware. From my understanding the gateway converts all WML to compiled binary before sending it to the phone. I assume that this compiled code is model specific depending on the gateway used. Basically my question is: does anyone know of any way to send the phone executable content?

NOt really doable, because if you were able to send binary content then you could feasibly access any part of the phone, hence make calls on it etc [potentially]. Theoretically this is a security issue which the designers couldn''t be bothered to rectify by creating a sandbox [the same way java works].

Hang on, where I come from, $0.02 is rounded down. Does that mean my opinion is worthless or priceless?

It would vary greatly by phone, how & if there''s another way - maybe with some connection to a PC you could do it - backdoor through the backup software?

You thinking something like ZShell/Fargo for the TI calcs?
