Is there any way to change the title bar of an MDI Child window on the fly in MFC? Thanks! "You call him Dr. Grip, doll!"

That''s what i would have thought, but it doesn''t do the trick.

i''m using the CHTMLView class... maybe there''s a quirk with it?

Hmm... seems it doesn''t work on my other windows as well.

i have a basic CFormView as a child window, and the SetWindowText() function doesn''t set the actual title bar text...

Any more suggestions?

Do it on the main window, not on your child windows:
AfxGetMainWnd ()->SetWindowText ("New Title");

Still no luck... i know that child views get their names from the stringtable (i think).

Any more help is appreciated...

document.SetTitle()
is what you want.

If you don''t have your doc object handy, use:
GetDocument() from the view
