Hi there,

I've got a program working without antialiasing (Count = 1, Quality = 0), but when i try to use other values to turn antialiasing on, the device creation always fails with invalid parameter.

How can i know which values to use?

Thanks in advance ^^.

Take a look at ID3D11Device::CheckMultisampleQualityLevels. There is a fixed number of quality levels (up to D3D11_MAX_MULTISAMPLE_SAMPLE_COUNT), but a device may not support all quality levels, and will definitely not support arbitrary sample counts for those quality levels that it does support, so your best bet is to always check and fall back to a safe mode. It's a pain, but as I recall there is no way of querying for multisampling support before you create your device.
