Hi guys,
I did a quick search and found a wealth of information here but nothing that really answers the question I have.
I want to know what graphics libraries people usually use for making 2D games. From what I've read, it seems like Direct2D or SDL are the most commonly used libraries in commercial 2D games. Is that true? I'm sure a lot of it is dependent on the language used as well, so I guess I'm looking for something to utilize with C++/C#. What do you guys say?
Industry Standard for Graphics?
XNA is very popular for C#. It support Windows, XBOX 360, and Windows Phone 7.
