Hi all, Bit of a novice question here I''m afraid. I have a strip of bitmaps rendered to the screen (thumbnail style) in OpenGL. I need to allow the user to select these by mouse clicking. How do I do this? please if you could direct me to a tut or give help it would be greatly appreciated. I have tried Jeff''s selection technique on Nehe but that is for primitive and does not work on BMP''s. Thanks guys Paul

Here''s what I have come up with, the Bitmaps are drawn on a plane in the Z. In this case -8.0. So as I know the users resolution, and my Max/Min X,Y in openGL I simply convert the
current mouse co-ords to virual co-ords within that plane.

Now this actually seems to work quite well.

But if anyone else has ideas I''m open.

Prosper do you mean I should use them as textures?
