.3DS (3D studio Max) files in OpenGL

All I what is to make my models in Max and use them in my games... If they are convertet on the way is not important. I know how to use .md2 files and ms3d files. But I don''t know how to use .3ds or how to convert them to .md2 or .ms3d... plz help me

just export a .3ds from max and convert it to ms3d or md2
using milkshape 3d.
