So, PR_GetTicks DOES use float now. That wasn''t mentioned in the readme files. I''m guessing I will run into a few problems with this new format (I haven''t re-compiled my projects yet). So now I should not notice as much variation in my object speeds as with integer, right? In the integer one when the framerate drops slightly you get the SLOW/FAST/SLOW/FAST effect.. I guess I''ll try it out to make sure. -Rich

Yes PR_GetTicks returns floats. I had to go through all the examples and library to makes the appropriate changes. Some things like the particle system and character events were based on integer timing so there may be some parts that haven''t been changed properly.

In most of the examples I just had to change move_count from a PR_DWORD to PR_REAL.
