nehe for iphone

Anyone know if the nehe tutorials are available for iphone?

I'm looking for some good iphone texture loading examples.

if iphone conforms to the spec, you shouldnt need to
and i very much opengl is any different on an iphone to a mentionable degree
but i think you should keep an eye out for smaller size variable types, such as half, short etc. where it would usually be float and integer
also keep in mind that you will have _alot_ less memory to spend
if you try to load a big texture, it will fail miserably :) i think...

1. iPhone is an embedded device so it uses OpenGL ES which in return does not conform to the entire OpenGL spec.
2. iPhone is an embedded device so you need to be very careful with how you use memory and render or you will hit performance walls.
3. NeHe is not a recommended way to learn OpenGL. It is incredibly outdated and a OpenGL ES book and an iPhone Game Development book would serve you much better for learning how to do things properly.
