Hi all - I am currently looking for a simple sample code to trigger force-feedback motors on my controller by using XNA and SlimDX libs. I think the functionality is basically given in the SlimDX / DirectX libs but seems to be quite complex to set up...

Therefore I would be very happy if somebody could post me simple working sample of how to control the two motors in standard game-pads.

Thank you in advance!

Assuming you want to use XInput, it seems simple enough to me. Create a Vibration structure, set the two motor vibration speeds, and then call Controller.SetVibration.

If you want to use DirectInput you're going to have to find native DirectX documentation and samples and port them to SlimDX, since it's a lot more complicated and I don't know how to do it.
