What exactly are you after ?

Just HDR Lighting without postprocessing ( as in DXSDK HDRCubeMap sample) , tone mapping operator(s) , reflection/environment mapping on 64/128 bits texture,

or HDR rendering on a 64/128 bits buffer as part postprocessing ?

If you could specify it , I am sure it will be much likely that there will be more repliers...

If you are unsure about the topics above , but if you just want to implement something like HDRCubeMap the first three are steps to do so
