Has anyone else had problems with HSR in the terrain engine? Landscapes showing through foreground tiles and the like?

I noticed a problem in one of my winamp plugins. I fixed it by calling this at the beginning of the frame:

PR_Globals.PR_Direct3DDevice->lpVtbl->SetRenderState(PR_Globals.PR_Direct3DDevice, D3DRS_ZWRITEENABLE, 1);

This gets turned off when using the lightmap_add rendering method and for some reason it wasn''t restored. I haven''t noticed it any of the PR examples though.
