Character velocity

The velocity of a character (MyPlayer->Info.Velocity.x or MyPlayer->Info.Velocity.z) is incorrectly reported when the character is colliding with an object. Correctly, the velocity should be reported as 0, since the player is not moving. It currently reports whatever velocity it would have if it were not colliding. This poses two problems: theres no way to tell if a character is moving, and there is no way to properly update "world coordinates" of a player if you are building a virtual world bigger than the basic wrapping map.

The velocity of objects is never changed by the engine. It''s up to the application to control.

The velocity is how fast the object WANTS to move, not how fast it actually moved after collision. Sliding along walls or off other objects would be impossible if you reset the velocity to 0. That would make it stop instantly when you hit something.
