Displaying Asserts on PC

I'm currently using DialogBoxParam to create a modal dialog for displaying asserts in the directx based engine I'm using. This works but when debugging multiple instances of the game the boxes can easily get lost and are awkward to interact with. Does anyone have a better way they can share? Ideally one that could work from within rendering code.
