New to C#, not to programming

Hey all, first post on a pretty cool looking site...should've signed up here a long time ago, lol.

Anyway, I've been programming as a hobby for something like 6 years, and I've learned numerous languages for game and web programming, and now I would like to learn C#. I don't need tutorials on how to program, I just need help learning the functions and whatnot for C# and XNA. My objective is to be able to create 3D games.

For example, I learned enough PHP to do just about anything I want in just a week by learning the syntax from the first chapter of a book, then learning the commands by googling references and a couple random articles on the internet. However, C# is a lot more complicated... XD

So yeah, are there any tutorial sites or something made for people like me? Or do I just have to learn a little patience and learn the slow way? Google hasn't helped at all...

Welcome to Gamedev!

If you've got some programming experience, this book might be just what you're looking for. It's clear, and gets through most of the key aspects of C#. It'll certainly be enough to get you going, and it doesn't harp on programming basics.

Being a programmer already, it's highly likely you've already found this, but here's the MSDN overview for XNA.

and the MSDN reference

Heh, I knew I couldn't be the only guy who didn't learn C# as his first language. XD

Khaiy, that book looks pretty good for learning C#...though not XNA...but PropeticEdge's link should at least point me in the right direction for that half. I probably saw that link on Google a couple times, but I usually ignore stuff on MS's website, just 'cuz it seldom actually helps me any, lol. But that link looks useful. Thanks to both of you.
