We are considering releasing our JavaScript game-story scripter and engine as a free download, which could be easily integrated in your browser game development cycle for creating, testing and integrating game story scripts in the rest of your game.

What the engine does is taking game-story scripts written in JavaScript and running them in both emulator mode or (of course) integrated in the real game, supporting maintaining state of environment, player and non-player characters.

Would anyone be interested in getting it? As it will require some (little) effort to remove some dependencies to our overall framework before releasing it, and we won’t do it if no one is interested. Answer in this forum or by comments on the original post here: gamamoto.com

I think people would be very interested. However, they would probably want to see a demo version or documentation as well.

Thanks for your answer, and you're right; I just wanted to get a first feedback on a vague proposal, and indeed we'll create a demo and documentation. I already got several positive reactions - I'll put them together as addenda to the blog post.
