How do I retrieve CounterBalance002's frametransformMatrix from an X file?
Just looking for API that does that..

Update:
After some research, I found that FindFrame can do this job. However, FindFrame is suitable for SkinnedMesh, if I only load the mesh as a static mesh with subsets,
I can't really find relevant API(s) that can search for a frame at any depth of the mesh. Any thoughts?
Thanks
Jack

Thanks
Jack

There isn't any API function that will do that, unfortunately. You'll have to parse the file yourself (using AllocateHierarchy and D3DXLoadMeshHierarchyFromX, or using your own file parser routine) to get individual objects such as frame transform matrices.
