LuaInterface?

Does LuaInterface work with XNA? My friend is creating a game with XNA and I would love to help him with scripting, but I'm not interested in learning C# at all and I love lua, so I was hoping that I could use LuaInterface to enable me to script in Lua for his XNA game.

Does it work? Do I need to do anything extra?

XNA doesn't allow you to use C++ or C libraries linked in. LuaInterface just creates a binding in C# for the C Lua library. I don't think it would be allowed, maybe it's different now. There are a few Lua re-implementation in pure C# but I'm not sure what their status is.

Let me answer your question with another question. Do you intend on developing for the 360?

If you want to develop for the 360, then you can only use managed libraries and thus you cannot use LuaInterface. However, if you're just planning to develop for Windows, then you can use any and all libraries you want to.
