Hey, I'm looking around for some indepth work on loading and using obj's or other mesh file formats. I'm sure I can adapt one of the many file loaders out there but I want to know whats going on under the hood. Ive found simple little tutorials on the subject but nothing serious. Id like to know exactly what Im doing as well as how to work with the data properly, as in whats efficient and whats not in the graphics pipeline. Also Im looking for details on how to use components like having a turret that is a part of a greater mesh file rotate. Anyway if anyone knows of something comprehensive Id love to hear about it. Thanks.
