[SlimDX] Virtualised device ?

Does the latest SlimDX do any device virtualisation like XNA does ? (http://blogs.msdn.co...studio-2-0.aspx)

I know that SlimDX is meant to just be a wrapper, but it seems like the best place to do XNA style virtualisation is between the unmanaged and managed parts, which is where SlimDX sits.

If not then please consider this as a suggestion.


Edit: I suppose an option for me to get around this issue would be to switch to DirectX 10 / 11, however it would be nice to not exclude people who don't yet have a DirectX 10+ setup.
