I believe I read somewhere that avatar permission on this site is a + feature. It seems my gravatar registered when I signed up though. I may be incorrect that this is a + only feature, but I thought to point it out the the administration.

Gravatars are enabled globally - but this is a bigger issue that will likely be addressed in the next version of the forum software.

Sorry for the dumb question, but parsing the fist sentence, would that mean that there's a way for normal, non-sponsor users to upload a custom avatar?
