Westwood College in Anaheim Hosts Free Gaming Event

On June 25, 2011, Westwood College in Anaheim will onceagain bring together some of the interactive entertainment industry’s mostaccomplished professionals to share their experiences in launching a gamingcareer, what they’ve learned along the way, and to discuss the future of thegaming profession.

The Third Annual Gathering of Video Game Legends is free andopen to the public. This event offers a unique opportunity for gamingenthusiasts to hear stories from industry experts on how they cut their path ingaming and to actually interact, one-on-one, with some big names in the field.Blizzard, Obsidian, Armor Games and Sony are just a few of the companies thatwill be represented.

In addition to an afternoon of featured speakers, attendeescan play video games and participate in game tournaments. More importantly,attendees will have the opportunity to meet and interact with an impressivelist of video game legends.

The event wraps up with an award ceremony for the 5th AnnualWestwood College 2D Game Development Competition, which will honor winningteams of students from Westwood College’s Game Software Development and GameArt Programs for their creation of original 2D games.
