Does anyone have an example of using this function with a depth buffer to do shadow mapping.

I'm getting very strange results when I do the blinear interpolation of the shadow test results. However, my code works correct if I manually offset the points and call SampleCmpLevelZero 4 times. I am, of course, using a comparison sampler when I use GatherCmpRed. Also, if I don't do bilinear filtering of the shadow test result, and just use the x-coordinate that is returned by GatherCmpRed, then it seems to be working (no soft shadows, of course).

I have GTX 460.
