Images missing in new layout of Nehe lessons

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

Sorry if the issue has been raised before:

Quite a few images are missing in the new layout of the Nehe lessons and articles, probably the img src tags are not pointing to the correct image locations. Can anyone fix this ?!

Many thanks,
AndSoOn

PS: for example this path (and sub-paths) does not exist on the new site : _admin/article/edit/24001/extras/

Hi AndSoOn,

Yeah, I've been trying to fix them as I find them, the transfer from the old site was pretty problematic :)

I've fixed a bunch, but there are probably more - they'll be fixed over the next few days. Thanks for the feedback :)

Luke.

Hi Luke,

Many thanks for that, I can see that the images in the lessons have been restored :-)
Just to let you know, in the legacy articles some images are still missing, for exm this path :
/_admin/article/edit/16012/extras/

The new site looks very nice though, so I guess it's just a question of solving the few broken links here and there.

Not sure if there is another more straightforward way to do it but one thing that I did for myself is to change the colors so that the site looks black on light grey (and a few other syntax highlighting color changes to adjust the contrast) instead of white on blue/black as I find it easier on my eyes. I did that using a bookmarklet which modifies the site DOM colors. If ever you think that would be of interest for some of the site users let me know and I will send you that bookmarklet for you to put somewhere on the site.

Best regards,
AndSoOn
