Quake/Doom BSP Library for C++?
I'm working on a game and I want to add support for BSP maps but I only want to pull the geometry and texture information out of the bsp file. I've been trying to figure out how to do it myself from Id's source code but it appears more difficult then I had hoped. I would logically assume that someone out there has written a library to handle this but I've searched and found nothing. Is there anything like this out there?
There's plenty of code available for this... but I don't know if they evolved in a library.
ASSIMP has some bsp support, maybe it will help you.
There was a dude playing with BSP not so long ago, perhaps using the search button could help if you haven't done that already.
