Hi all, I want to open html files in my (v)c++ app using the internet explorer (or netscape). But I do not know how to do that. I found some classes like IWebBrowser2 and CHtmlView... but isn´t there an easy function which sends the URL and opens an ie window? I won´t build my own browser (maybe with CHtmlView). I just want to make links to web sites in my MFC app! Thanks for help... TheUnreal

Found it for you! (It was in one of those MSDN Periodicals)
HINSTANCE ShellExecute(
HWND hwnd,
LPCTSTR lpOperation,
LPCTSTR lpFile,
LPCTSTR lpParameters,
LPCTSTR lpDirectory,
INT nShowCmd
);

To open a web page you''d call
ShellExecute( NULL, "open", "http://www.gamedev.net", NULL, NULL, SW_SHOWNORMAL );

You can thank me later.
