Another question on 3dxi to direct3d

As 3dxi is not bound to direct3d, it is lacking the capability to convert anything to the X format.
I wonder you gurus export geometry and its coordinates separately or not.
I know that seems redundant, but I don't have time to construct a .X exporter using 3dxi from scratch.
I want to use Direct3D APIs to manipulate a skinned mesh.
