Player Input for Bitmaps

hey, i have everything set up,init,i can load bitmaps,etc.I have theGetAsyncKeyStateMacro() Set up and I wanted to move the camera around a tile map I just created. I set one of the variables(world_camerax) as global, so when the user press the left key,it would modify this global and update,but it wont do anything. I know its not the VK_LEFT because VK_ESCAPe works in my GameMain(), which is where I put the user input. I also tried the switch(wparam) VK_LEFT: but it still didnt work. Any ideas? BTW my DrawTiles() function is in a header file,and the globals are at the top of that header.I tried switching the globals to my other too,but it wouldnt work. I updated my tile function with the one here at game dev,(Tiling in DirectX Part 2 any help would be appreaciated.Thanks "Good,evil,I got the gun" Ash- Evil Dead

put the world_camerax variable in a message box or write it to a file to see if the VK_LEFT is actually changing it
