Hello I really apreciate if anyone could tell me wich system is mostly used in RTS games like Star Craft, Age of Empires, Sudden Strike, etc. I mean, Isometric or hex grids? Thanks in advance.

Asfar as I known Iso(diamond) is the most used.

I only remember seing hex-based map used in turn-based games.

btw: StarCraft dont use either iso or hex, it is useing rectangles to make to look like iso.
