Translating Blitz Basic

I am trying to make a binary heap based on a tutorial, but I am working in c#. Everything made sense to me up to the point where it says

If u <> v then

I have no idea what "<>" means. My guess is it means not equal to (!=), but I am not sure and I can not find any decent documentation on the language.

Yes, it means "Not Equal To".

Also note that the equal operator "=" works both for comparisons and assignments. The context in which it's used defines the behavior.
E.G:


If foo = 5 Then ;Comparison.

foo = 1 ;Assignment.

EndIf
