In 3Ds Max 2011 I am currently trying to connect 2 vertices of an I object I mirrored (I selected copy mode instead of instance) and then attached together I managed to target weld the vertices on either side of the two I'm trying to weld but I can't do that pair. Any help is appreciated
PS. I would also like to know why I can't seem to be able to use the connect tool seeing as it should be one object now and there are no faces in between.
Sorry I'm new to modelling so I'm not very good with the terminology surrounding it
Nvm I think I've put this in the wrong section :/
3Ds Max Modelling - Can't connect/weld 2 vertices of mirrored & attached objects
Hii ;
I dont know if you have found the answer but the same thing happened to me and i solved it attaching first the two elements.(its better from the editable poly section you choose the element ,choose the element that you wish form the viewport then come to the attach (use the attach menu,when you press the button there will appear a list ,it looks like the list when you hit "H")Choose the other object and Attach.Normally it works but if it still doesnt work use target weld.And this will solve the problem.I hope it can be useful.
