Sampler Count

Hi,

For SM 3.0 it was only 16 samplers avaiable
How many texture samplers can be used for shader model 4.0 and newer SM

The limit for shader resource views is 128, so you can sample that many unique textures/buffers. The limit for sampler states is still 16.
But there are texture arrays, so it is my understanding this number can be significally higher in use... although I'd like to know more on that feature's performance.
