Hello, I wanted to ask if the library im using is OK for a beginner, or should I get another one.

I'm currently using acm.graphics http://jtf.acm.org/r...s-package.html.

But I don't know if it's good or bad or should I change to another one, anyone can give me a piece of advice here?

Thank you.

(But I do find this library pretty good and fitting for myself)

It doesn't look like a library suited for game development. I think it's designed to drawing graphs and other math stuff, but not really real time graphics, as games requires. Personally I like Slick http://slick.cokeandcode.com/ It's based on the lwjgl OpenGL wrapper, so it can definitely make some nice and fast graphics :) It's rather simple, and have a huge community if you need help with anything.

Edit: If you follow this guide: http://www.gamedev.net/page/reference/index.html/_/reference/programming/languages/java/java-games-active-rendering-r2418 you can get Javas standard graphics library to do some quite fast rendering as well :)
