OpenGL D3D11 swapchain present( ) parameters gone?

Hi,

in D3D11, when you enlarge the size of a client window
without adjusting the viewport it seems that D3D fills
the whole client window with the viewport/backbuffer
content/pixels when calling present( ).

So basically it stretches the viewport to fit the
whole client window. OpenGL does not seem to do
that. It just keeps showing the viewport in the
original corner when resizing the client window
without updating the viewport.

Anybody here who can confirm that?

Also noticed that from D3D10 to D3D11 some src and dst RECT
parameters in the SwapChain's present() method were removed
but found no documentation why and if there is a replacement
for this functionality or not.

Help is really appreciated!
