What is the differences between Debug and Release modes? My projects builds and executes fine in Release mode, but it gives me A "Debug Error" in debug mode. Is this something That I should worry about?

Debug mode does a lot more checking for you to make sure you are passing valid arguments and not stomping over memory. While I''m not sure what you mean by "debug error," you probably have some sort of bug such as a memory leak that release mode does not check for. Release mode is also usually set up to optimize more heavily than debug mode, but you can change these settings.

Often times variables that you do not declare before you use are set to zero in debug mode while in release they start as a random number. Also, some array out-of-bounds errors or illegal instructions may not show up in release build. If you post your code segment here I''m sure we can figure out what it is, just comment code out until you narrow down the problem.
