Hi! :)

I was wondering if there is a way to automatically set a point's size when rendering a point list in directX 10 -something equilevant to glPointSize in openGL-.
I can see there is a PSIZE semantic in HLSL but it's not a system-value semantic so I guess using it won't work.
I also checked some of the SDK's samples using points and all of them use the geometry shader to expand each point into a quad, but I would prefer not using gs.
So, is there another way I could use ?

That PSIZE semantic is for the old point sprite functionality in D3D9. Using the GS to expand points into quads is simple and robust, so I would suggest you just go ahead and implement it. Is there any particular reason why you're tying to avoid it?
